Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SOLD MK1 Cabby 1.8

    Had a bit of a shuffle surprise surprise hey lol, got the cabby to do the 1.8T mod, have a Mk2 now coming in its place that's very clean and well worth the mod. I want pretty ,much what I paid for it with the added extra luxury of being able to tell you why it doesn't start., It has stale fuel, and its also gummed up the orig pump. Happy to pump it all out fit new pump part of the deal and even get it running if you want. Its a great car and hate to see it sit, its Kjet and with new pump and fuel should go ok. It has slight damage to OSF chassis rail and needs boot lid which I can get cheap. Hit me up , as is $600 but running ill need a bit more for time and new pump etc etc. plenty more info if reqd, will post up pics tmw

      Pics tmw guys, had a weekend away from it for a change. I have a new Bosch pump I can supply for $80. Rest is up to you. Happy for any questions and if you want a look etc. Wouldn't take much to get this on the road.

        Some pics of the cabby guys


        Needs bootlid but know someone with one

        Needs drivers chassis rail cold pull not hard, and new rad support, fixable but easier with new panel
        Be on gumtree and ebay shortly guys, grab it when you can, I only want what I paid for it and I have a new fuel pump you can have for $80. Empty the tank. Ive had it running wouldn't take much to make it good.
