Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD '98 VW MK4 (6N) Polo

    $3,500 (negotiable)

    5spd Manual 134,xxx kms.

    Metallic Green exterior with grey interior

    Tyres have lots of tread

    Roof racks included

    Non-smoker car.

    Full log-book, manuals and stock radio code etc

    New parts:
    • New battery fitted 8/12
    * Timing belt replaced (122K)
    waterpump, rear wheel bearing kit, drums and brake pads and
    Audi solid front control arm bushings. 11/12
    • 2 New window regulators. 2/12
    • 2 rear gas struts for hatch. 1/14
    • Gear shift knob and boot. 1/14

    About 5 months ago the following was replaced

    • 2 hatch gas struts
    • Gear shift knob and boot
    • 2 new headlight bulbs

    Reason for selling: Upgrade to a larger Volkswagen.

    Price: $4000 (negotiable) with RWC and Rego till June. Car will not disappoint.
