Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD EOI: 2004 Mk4 R32 045/200

With my current commitment of building a house with my partner, I'm considering parting ways with my pride & joy. I don't need to nor desperate to sell so low ballers need not apply.

I am the 2nd owner of this R32 and have owned it since June/July 2012.

    Details:

    Build: 045/200
    Colour: Deep Blue Pearl
    Km: 210,500
    Rego: Jun 14
    Price: $23,000 ONO

    Last serviced Dec 2014

Logs books are current, have receipts for all service history and purchases. Run exclusively on Caltex Vortex 98 or BP Ultimate.

Serviced solely by Adam @ VA Garage or Jimmy @ Alba European.

I have most spares except for OEM Aristos. Includes both key-rings

Thanks guys, don't really want to sell the old girl but it's time to shift my priorities towards the house and with the R32 going, it'll make life a little bit easier...

I had been looking for 8.5 months for a good one. Over that time I looked at 5 and had 4 inspected all interstate but one. I am very particular and have had the help of some very good people to find one worthy. My wife and I am looking forward to bringing it home and I am sure it is not the last time you will all see it bar a different set of number plates. My turbo'd 54 beetle is looking forward to having a playmate in the garage.

Thanks again 2000MN for all your help and patience and Mk1turbo79 for all answers and time you have spent helping a stranger for the last 6 months of searching. Hopefully I can make it up somehow.
