2010 MY10 Golf GTI 6sp Manual, Carbon Steel Grey (Metallic)
Mileage – 57119kms as at Sunday Jan 5 2014.
It has been owned by a mature, fastidious and mechanically sympathetic owner. It was delivered via Gerald Slaven VW in February 2011.
The Golf GTI has been a local car in Canberra. Commuter mainly between Gungahlin and Civic and then weekend/holiday trips to the Snowy Mountains, Temora, Sydney, Central Coast and Port Stephens.
Full Service History and Logbooks – serviced @ at Gerald Slaven VW and, service records actually EXCEED manufactures expectations. Next service in Oct 2014 or 62,000kms. I’ve changed oil/filter every 7500kms and used only 504/507 VW Approved
Oils - LiquiMoly Top Tec 4200 / Fuchs Pro GT1 PRO C3
Even with 155kw/280Nm, fuel consumption is only 7.0L/100kms as per ECU.
Garaged daytime (secure parking) and at night (home). Hand washed weekly / Hand polished every 3 months using only Menzerna , AutoGlym and Meguiars products.
Only factory option is the 18” Detroit rims. Darkest legal tint from Solartint Belconnen – there is lifetime warranty on the tint. I’ve also added some aluminium “GTI” scuff plates and “GTI” inserts on the seat handle.
Tyres – Michelin Pilot Sport 3’s on front @ 85% depth / Continental Contact Sport 2 on rears @ 60% depth (original tyres).
No engineering modifications / no crashes / no track days.
Warranty issue(s) – front left hand speaker replaced by Gerald Slaven VW. Nothing else!
2x blemishes;
•Chip on windscreen – repaired by Windscreen O’Briens within 2hrs of chip occurring
•Rear Left rim has a small scratch on ‘bead’ area.
Inspections welcome at prospective buyers expense. If you are 100% committed to buying a Mk6 Golf GTI, I would like to hear from you – no tyre kickers/no joy rides thanks. Owner will be coming on all test drives.
ACT Rego until February 2014 but will be extending by 3 months at a time until sold.
