Hi, up for sale is my beautiful but not perfect Seat Ibiza Gti, powered by a 2.0L 8V. Its a fun little car to drive, does about 700KM to a tank, its been ran on 98 its entire life, previously owned by Matt at Camden GTi as a company car and having just ticked over 200'000kms, its had an easy life.
Recently done in the past year
Hi flow exhaust from the downpipe to the last box. It doesn't sound like a fart cannon, but it does have a nice rumble on deceleration, a very subtle sound, and that sweet spot at 3200rpm
Starter Motor, i hear a very common problem with the ibiza's
Rotors and pads all round, calipers painting with high temp red paint.
Coilpack, purchased new from the stealer
Spark plugs and leads, just a precautionary thing
Front Control arms, the drivers side had a crack, so i did both.
Transmission Fluid (obviously that green end cap too!)
Front engine mount, failed the RW so replaced (cant remember the name)
Thermostat, the heater will now cook your dinner
New brake master cylinder
Gear Shift linkages, reduced the sloppiness of gear changes,
Topped up with penrite 5L about a month ago.
Iv'e been told that the the springs are uprated Mk2 springs, i dont know if it came out the factory like this, but it definitely feels less like a boat than my previous mk3 golf.
Now for the bad parts
Sometimes it will rev around 2.5k when you come off the freeway, i believe this is due to a leak in the vacuum.
The front end could do with a respray (sun damage)
Also there is a scratch/dent on the rear passenger side where my brother managed to scrape it on a fence (will provide picture tonight)
The clutch pedal can be a little stiff on those really cold mornings, but after 5 minuets of driving its normal again.
Even though i replaced the pads and rotors about a year ago, they will need doing soon.
The car will be sold with 2 sets of rims
4 original 14" rims 2 are about 80% thread and the other 2 are about 50%
4 CSA 16" 2 are about 95%, they still have the writing on the thread, the other 2 are about 1%
I will try to get current photos of the car tonight.
Asking $1000 with no rego or roadworthy. Willing to negotiate if you can pick the car up before the 8/1/14. Ill even chuck in a Haynes manual for the MK3 Golf 2.0L/VR6
I have only advertised on the forums, partly because its free and partly because i don't want my car to go to some wannabe drift king who will wrap it around a pole next chance they get..
I dropped my phone a few days ago, so if you need to contact me you can send me a pm, Car is located in Flemington/Travencore.
