***SOLD***
Hello All,
Selling my little MkV TDi Comfortline. Have a bit of spare cash after moving house and have decided to upgrade.
Lets get the negatives out of the way. The car has done 294XXX klms. The previous owners (who owned it from new) lived on the Sunshine Coast and commuted to Brisbane every day. So the majority of the K's are HWY travel, if that counts for anything. It was their company car and so performed every scheduled service including $6500 for a gearbox replacement (all a tax deduction apparently, including a monthly detail). All services documented and logbooks stamped. The paint work is in great condition. The interior is OK, but this car has done a lot of work. It could do with a replacement of the door grab handles in the front, but thats not a huge cost.
I installed an RCD510+ with USB port installed in the lower switch area (OEM).
It is wearing a 2nd hand set of Denvers which make it look a bit different to all the other grey Golfs out there and provide a bit more road contact than the standard alloys.
The car goes well. I have driven it to Sydney 3 times in the last 6 months and it performed flawlessly.
I am asking $6300 and I am open to offers. I realise this car is almost out of place on a forum full of GTI and other performance models, but the car has lots of low end grunt and is excellent on fuel. I enjoy driving it, especially when I pull up at the fuel pump.
It has QLD rego until Feb 2014
It is listed on carsales here2005 Volkswagen Golf V Comfortline contact details are in the ad.
