  • NSW red 1995 mk3 vr6 obd1 genuine km's with books to prove!!

    Hi all,
It has unfortunately come to the time to part ways with my beloved vr6. It is a 1995 mk3 VR6 obd1. It has 129,000 genuine kms with the log books to show for it. It also comes with the genuine spare key, and i also have the receipt for the car when it was originally purchased. So far, i have installed the rain guards, the glove box, and have installed a remus muffler with a suitcase muffler delete. Other than that, the car is pretty much the same as when i picked it up. It has a custom interior thats like the edition 35 golf, angel eye headlights, older style rs4 wheels, pipercross air filter, and a phillips touch screen head unit. All of the rubber seals have been replaced, and the black plastic parts on the outside have been re-painted. I have just replaced the two rear door seals and have painted over a small bit of rust that was on the car. The car has been washed every weekend, and vacuumed every second week. I have spent countless hours going over pretty much every square cm of the car, and it has been a pleasure to do so. The car is always run on BP-ultimate 98, and has never skipped a beat since i first picked it up.

I am looking for $8,000 negotiable. Located in Cabramatta West. Please feel free to pm me, or contact me on 0412786030.
    Thanks, Luka

Chains last a lifetime and at that mileage the clutch should still be perfect.
            Great example very nice.

Thanks Stanton! Yeah, the car is maintained properly, so the chains will definitely last a lifetime.

Timing chains are meant to last the "life of the engine".
Unfortunately on a VR6 they seem to limit the engines life to around 200 - 230,000kms unless you replace the guides.

                free bump, very nice car.
