Hi guys,
For sale I have a 77 mk1 2 door golf. I used this car as a daily driver for a few years then took it off the road for a tidy up which never happened. It's been sitting in storage for the past few years and I have realized I have neither the time or money to finish it so it's time to let it go.
Has rust here and there but it's all fixable, the worst area would be the left hand floor pan and the rain tray/ fresh air box under the windscreen. Other areas of the car like under the windows has surface rust which looks a lot worse than it actually is.
The car has no interior but does come with a nice sparco steering wheel. It's got a 1.6 engine with a progressive weber on it, it's not running atm but was running before I stopped using it, so a battery and fresh fuel should have it going.
Best part of the car is the g60 15inch steel wheels. They are rather rare wheels here in oz and come with good tyres as well.
It's located in Forestville 2087 which is on the north side of Sydney. Car would have to be towed or trailered away as it doest run/ no rego.
Would be a perfect race car or resto project. Below is a photobucket link to some photos.
