Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD EOI Black magic 1997 VR6 Golf

    I bought this one off max with some rear right damage check out his thread and mines. Ive had it repairer and never compromised any factory welds, beaver didn't even come off. Its back at the paint shop as it had a blemish where it was repaired. I have a set of Mk4 recaros sitting in it now but they going into my project Polo if this goes. Ill sell it with a set of Black Audi TT 17s as seen in my thread. It sitting on Bora wheels for now just to move it around but will need a set of transport wheels as the TTs have no tyres. It will also need seats. Itll be a regrettable sale and im happy for anyone to have a look and at the end of the day if I can sell my Passat wagon ill keep this . I have acquired a new addition which really is up my street in the era I served my time so thought I might shift this, but really not overly fussed just thought id put it out there, ill update with pics and info when I get back, just heading off for a couple of days.
    I be happy to get back what ive spent on it so far . Looking at $3000. No pressure as I really like the car. It will also need a WOVR inspection before it goes on the road.

    Guys slight amendment to the price, had to add a little as its a really good one. Ill get some pics tmw as im doing a diagnostic job at the paintshop its in. There is a couple breaking around the place at the moment so im sure seats would be ready available, there is a few sets of wheels around as well. Ill make a detailed list so you know where its at. Feel free to pm me for any info. I wish I could keep all my projects but the new addition has taken up too much room and I also very keen to get back to my Polo project

      As the previous owner of this car I can vouch for how good it is. It has full service records and was owned by two older blokes that had it only as a weekend driver. Very clean and straight with relatively low Ks for a car of its age. I have receipts in the file cabinet for over $4000 of work done in the past 4 years on various things. Would be a great project for someone to get it back on the road and back to former glory!

        Guys for now im taking this off the market, looks like it may be staying. My Cl will be geeting tidied up however and will be fopr sale soon.

          Guys and Gals, this one will be for sale now, I have bought another toy for my wife and need to make the room, as above but will update on sale condition shortly. This one will be worth a look
          Stay tuned, I got some family stuff this weekend but after that ill be pushing it and itll be up for sale elsewhere. Previous pm,rs ill contact you guys!!
