Up for sale is my 1990 VW GTI MK2
Engine - 1.8 8v
Gearbox - 5 Speed Manual
Kilometres - 219,000
Rego - 6th March 2014
Engine:
It has a 1.8 8v. Engine runs fine, Idles up and down at certain times. Will need some TLC in the future.
Had a service about 2 months ago -
- replaced vacuum and breather hoses
- Idle air slide assembly
- Brake fluid
Gearbox:
Gearbox had a Service Mid 2012. Service includes- (RECEIPTS INCLUDED)
- REPLACEMENT OF REAR MAIN ENGINE OIL SEAL
- GEARSHIFT MECHANISM AND REPLACE DEVIATING SHAFT AND BUSHES.
- TIE ROD END
- SHIFT MECHANICAL SHAFT
- REAR CRANKSHAFT SEAL
Interior is in very good condition, Few marks here and there but very neat.
- 2x 4inch speakers on the dash and 2x 6x9s in the rear parcel shelf
- Head unit ( Has Iphone attachment )
- Air con doesnt work, Never had to use it. Heater works.
- Has sunroof, Keeps blowing the fuze. Unsure of the problem. (Does Leak when raining) Always had a cover on it when it rained.
- Dash is cracked due to the sun
- Rear right window gets stuck when winding it back up
Exterior-
The car is in clean condition, being black it does have noticeable scratches. A few dents in the front panels and also a bump on the rear right hand side door thats not greatly noticable. The only bit of rust that i can see is on the top of the bonnet, No actual rust on the body.
- Smoked Rear Rear tail lights
- Smoked indicators
- 5% Tint (looks great at night)
- Front lip
Suspension:
The car Has Adjustable ST coil-overs.
New driveshafts
Wheels:
The wheels are Enkei E92 that will come with the car. Still has plenty of tread.
Problems:
Starter motor will need replacing in due time, Still starts and runs everyday but will need some attention.
Overall the car will need some TLC,.
Idles up and down when warming up.
Car is not in immaculate condition so don't expect it to be showroom condition.
Im pricing it fair at 5k Negotiable.
Reason for selling:
Im going down the construction path and i need a vehicle for work.
