QLD WTB: Golf Mk3 or Mk4

As the title states, I'm looking into getting a Mk3 or Mk4 Golf. Basically the main thing is it needs to be reliable and have no outstanding mechanical issues or impending issues you may know of. Would prefer to buy from a fellow Qld'er...

Auto or manual is fine, good condition both in and out...Log books essential too
Must come with RWC and rego (rego is not a must but preferred)

Looking sub $4k
