I have the original down pipe and GTI springs, and also original 18" Detroit wheels, so car can be returned to stock if required for sale (at a reduced price).

Car was dealer serviced as scheduled, and has recently had an independent mechanic perform the most recent service in May (forum sponsor/guru Transporter).

I could be, although as I'm not mechanically minded the cost of removing the items at this stage would probably outweigh the sale value.. I'm happy to look into it though.

Thanks mate, I'll be back one day in a GTI/R. Although between the current economic climate and VW's current rep I think I'll still be waiting for a nearest offer even if I put it up for a meat pie and sauce.

Thanks mate.. I think I recall seeing you around but I was on nightly hospital runs and remember seeing a few GTIs around.

Seems like I'll be trading this one away, zero interest out there for VWs at the minute, does put me off buying one as my next vehicle (I'm down to two choices). I'll keep you posted if a part out eventuates.. at this stage might only be the wheels.
