$1000 as is... priced for quick sale to get it out of the way before I head overseas (only for a few weeks)

1997 VW Golf GL (AGG 2.0L) Auto. Located in Mt Ommaney Brisbane.
Maroon, working aircondition, CD with iPod connection.
165,000kms with log books to 130000 odd, timing belt done at 110,000, good amount of history. Engine is super smooth.
The bad, paint on roof has peeled, still has colour but needs a shot of clearcoat, auto gearbox has started to slip, BUT a replacement gearbox of the correct code is supplied.
The good, low kms, very straight body, air bags etc.
Selling because I now have my once Mk3 project car on road.
Had made it to $999 on eBay without anyone even looking at it, just had reserve too high. This is a bargain for VWW, not putting a buy it now on ebay.
I can assist in organising the required work to get this on road, must be one of the cheapest ways to get yourself on road in a safe fun little car, not going to say perfect " " car, because a Golf is perfect for anyone.
Out of state considered, preferred carrier 'door2door',
Also because I had a maroon Mk3 previously, this one comes with two matching guards, a front bumper, a maroon VR grill, and maroon mirrors... not needed now but could be useful in the future.
