Sadly I am looking to get rid of my Mk2 ( previously Kostas ) - Upgraded to MkV GTI a few weeks ago and Mk2 is just sitting there.
1985 - SA import - 1.8 K-Jet engine - manual
I have owned it for 3 years, driven it daily and had a whole bunch of fun with it. In this time it's had its timing belt, fuel pump, brakes, plugs/leads replaced and been regularly serviced.
It's idling a bit rough at the moment, also has dent above right wheel arch - I don't have the time or $ to fix it. Bit of rust near the windscreen, seats have seen better days.
Riding on 15x7 ATS Cups - coil overs - Do not have original wheels.
Black bonnet ( red one supplied ), debadged grill, cross hair headlights, aftermarket exhaust & cd player/speakers
By no means a super "clean" mk2 but is fun to drive, something unique and turns heads.
270 000 odd Km's
Currently registered in Vic til Feb 2014
