I was seriously considering this but it just had too much damage before the repair. and being QLD I wont be able to get any of my expert mates to look at it before buying.

There's nothing wrong with a repaired write off IF it has been repaired correctly. Who knows if this one was. The fact that the guy has discounted it by approx $1k per week for the past 6 weeks suggests hes desperate to move it.

Yeah it was repaired but from what I've heard it was an average repair at best. I just hope that whoever buys it does their research.. I certainly wouldn't touch it!

The one on eBay yes does seem to have its problems.

Have you checked out Michael's DBP MK4 R32? Can highly vouch for his R32, definitely one worth looking at as it has been kept in immaculate condition throughout ownership its hard to fault. Something seriously worth considering if you ask me as I have seen the car in the flesh many times and it really does turn heads being a very clean example.
