Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW 2 door SC Vr6

Reluctantly up for sale is my 1996, 2 door vr6. The car has been my pride and joy for the past 2 years but its time to move on as money needs to spent elsewhere.

I bought the car from Matt at Camden GTI 2 years ago. At the time the car had 155 xxx kms on it. It now has 167 xxx on the clock.

After a year of owning the car i bought a wrecking vr6 from Malteser whose car had many desirable parts on it. I took both cars back to Camden GTI and started the process of swapping parts over:

    KW V2 Coilovers
16" BBS RS with brand new Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE001s
VF Engineering Stage 2 Supercharger including piping, 30lb injectors, K&N filter
New front brake discs with new pads front and rear
    Polyurethane suspension bushes
Black Forest Industries Stage 1 Engine Mounts
    Recently reconditioned manual gearbox
    New clutch
    recently replaced wheel bearings
Leather interior in very good condition
    Braided brake lines

These are the part that where put into my car. I have also upgraded the sound system - 2x12 Rockford Fostgate subs in the boot, boston speakers and splits inside and a clarion dvd head unit.

The car just had rego done last week so has a full year on it. New strut mounts and slave cylinder with fluids replaced. Also has custom number plates 'VW 2800' which come with the car.
The car comes with a black vr6 grill in perfect condition, giac chip, spare sc belts and dieselgeek short shifter.

There are a few minor dents on the car and some minor chips on the front bumper.

Chasing $12,500 ono but all offers are accepted.

    Thanks for looking.
