Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hey guys I really miss my old mk1 and while Im Building the GLD I really want another mk1 to hack around with! If anyone is interested in selling there mk1 based in vic that's running and no major issues for a roady please inform me!

        Yeah I know that's the wise option! But I miss hacking around with the mk1!


        Anyone in melbourne selling a mk1 that's in a reasonable condition (engine and body wise) and registered??

          A run down of what I'm looking for!
          Mk1 golf preferably petrol carby,
          Regested and running,
          Don't mind minor wear and tear (exterior and interior wise)
          Preferably a 2 door ( might consider a 4 door)
