God dude i'm sad, yet happy this isn't in WA.
Mostly because my parents would kill me if I bought another Mk1 (would be the third).
Seriously though, good luck with sale!
Looks to be a minter from the two pics that have loaded!

Headliner has gone at the rear. And i have changed the front seats to something comfier.

Rust in the rear windows and a surface rust in places as you would expect

In your opinion, what does this need to get it roadworthy?

Thats a stupid question IMO. Rules are different between states and poster is not a mechanic.
Pits an old car, make up your own mind. Caveat emptor rules apply as to all private sales of motorcars.
good luck with sale, not many mk1s left.

@Goof Loon, I stated "in your opinion" I don't know the poster, so how do I know if he's a mechanic or not. He might have said recently got it checked over and in my state it will need 2x tyres. That's all the info I was looking for.

I'm interested in the car but I am interstate and don't have any one that can look at it in NSW, so before I go flying up I was trying to get more info.

I'm entitled to ask a question just as much as you are. I don't think it was a stupid question at all.

@alienfromuranus By the way didn't get an answer back, Any ideas on what needs to be spent to get it roadworthy in your state? If you haven't had it checked recently or don't know then that info would be perfect.

                            Cheers

I agree with dubstyle on this one, he stated ''in your opinion''. Maybe the seller wouldnt know EVERYTHING that the mk1 needed for rego but may at least know something!
