NSW EOI WTB mk2 2 door in the next 6 or so months

Hey guys,

This is just a rough thread, im basically looking for a straight mk2 2 door with electric sunroof and all that jazz, motor doesnt need to be running but i want a neat straight car to work with as ill be wanting to do an engine conversion

Would need to be manual
2 door with sunroof
kms arnt too much of a problem
body needs minimal rust and minimal dents

not 100% on this but just and EOI really and just keen to see whats out there.

Just so you know mk2s never had electric sunroofs from the factory. If a mk2 has one it is a custom fitted jobbies. I do believe that some dealerships had them fitted locally when they sold the mk2s here.

Thanks Mate, i thought some of them came out with electrics im sure they did in NZ and i thought some would have in aus.. maybe the later models?

Really keen to get a project/daily mk2 in the next 6-12 months as im buying a house soon and a mk2 would be fantastic

Fo the right price. 1984 Gti-one of he first, still on kjet, early model interior coming, early 7 slat grille, small bumpers 16v lip, 16x7.5" racing dynamics, lowered 60/40 I think. Recaro seats in it now. No ac no power anything, manual sunroof, vdo trio gauges ( volt, temp, pressure)

Could do with some panel work, but meh, it's a 28 yr old car on the same engine!
