  • QLD FS: 94 Mk3 VR6 Golf

Ok guys, Time has come to part ways with my little VR6. Most of you know its a 1994 VR with a 1996 motor in it, It was sold to me by Lawrence at German Auto's who bought it off a guy who had blown the original motor in it. Lawrence got a hold of a motor from Micks Motors and installed it and got it running again.

It has been meticulously serviced by Lawrence and German Auto's and only by him. In the entire time I have owned it, it has been serviced on time, and when I was interstate, and couldn't get it to him, I changed the oil myself and got it to him soon after to get it all sorted and back in line.

At this point I could go on about how it is a low mileage car as it only has 2300km's on the odometer, but in actual fact it has done 302 000km's. and is still tight as a drum! There are no rattles in it what so ever, paint work is still in very good condition with the odd stone chip on the bonnet and grille.....these things happen when a car is so old.

The interior is almost perfect with exception to a few little things, it has a new windscreen in it (original VR6 windscreen with the green tint to it)

I have always looked after this car and it was cleaned on a weekly basis with a wax to go with it.

At the moment it will be getting new tyres in the next few weeks, Lawrence will be going over it again to check everything is fine, and will be sold with a roadworthy.

The few things that are wrong currently are:
Bottom of the steering column cover needs to be replaced
new BBS centre for one of the wheels
Aircon needs a re-gas from what I have been told
Reverse light switch needs to be replaced (A german auto's job to be done when it goes in)

Im not going to lie, it has done a few KM's and that could concern a few people, but its a very good golf and hasn't ever given me any grief. It still pull's cleanly without any knocks or thumps from the engine or chassis.

Its a great and easy car to drive around town, and most of my driving has been highway driving and it has generally returned about 7.5 l/100km which for a motor this size is pretty good really!

Any other questions please dont hesitate to ask or PM me.

Asking $6000 with roadworthy and ready to go, if anyone wants to take it off me before that we can arrange something.

    Cheers

    Coxy

This car is worth a look if your on the market for a vr6.
High kms mean nothing when you know the engine is in as good of condition as yours mechanically.

        Thanks Badger!

It keeps coming out about this car being a good example, everyone who has been in it says that themselves, it doesn't feel like a 300k Car.

This will be put onto car sales in a few weeks, just putting it on here before all work is done.

        Cheers

New Yokohama S-drives have just been put on the car, also price has dropped to 5k at the moment till all the issues get sorted. Once she is done will be looking at about 7.5.

              Cheers

Car has just gone onto car sales,

also there has been a few things change on the car.

It now has new S drive Yokohama tyres, which have done roughly 500km.

It has gone off to Lawrence to have a check up and is in for some work now, Belt has been replaced, Rear shock boots have been replaced, Front Suspension rubbers have been changed, new Brake Pads on the rear and the reverse light's have been fixed.

It's being sold with a RWC for Peace of Mind

The car is up on carsales at the moment for 6k. If anyone on here is interested PM me and we can work a ONO price out.

                  Cheers
