Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Will the fact that it is an MY07 make a difference? Not listed on carsales, yet. I'm not at home enough to be around for inspections unfortunately. I only have it on here to gauge interest and see what my price is like etc... It is definitely for sale though.

Yeh I've seen a few white and black ones with <60,000km going for around $14,000 and open to offers. They're great cars, but the resale isn't great at the moment.
I got mine with 38,000km 6months ago for a few ground lessAustralia’s Largest Car Parts and Car Accessories Store.

no sure about WA prices but in NSW you would be lucky to get $14k for an 06 with 88k kms.
the only real time when the model year plays a role, is for people getting a secure personal loan. In my case I get a cheaper interest rate if the car is under 5 years old.
I bought an 08 polo last year, will be selling it once it hits 80k km. I will be over the moon if I can get around $15k for it.2008 POLO GTI - SOLD
