Hey guys, I got this Golf this time last year from a guy in Brisbane. I am not in a rush to sell the vehicle as I use it quite frequently and actually love it. Just putting it out there to see if anyone is interested in it. I want to purchase a new project as I care about this one too much to take a hammer and grinder to it.
The car has the following:
- Adjustable Coilovers
- New battery (6 months)
- CD/MP3 head deck
- 6x9 rear parcel tray speakers
- Oil cooler with braided lines
- New engine hoses
- 194,xxx kilometers
- 4 speed manual
- 90% rubber all round
- Will purchase fresh 6 months rego from April this year
- Will come with RWC
Previous owner replaced all black plastics on fenders, front bar, rear bar. Also new front grille, new headlights, clear tail lights and clutch.
Everything on this car works incredibly well given its age, dash lights, windscreen washers, wipers, hazards, dash dimmer, interior lights, everything. Car even comes with original floor mats and owners manual. The owner before the owner I purchased the vehicle from has resprayed the vehicle, it was originally Red. The under carriage of the vehicle has had rust proofing as well.
The interior is in perfect condition, no tears, no cigarette burns, no marks, no fading. I have never seen the actual dash as the dash has had a brown cover glued to it (neatly)
Car has always been run on Vortex Premium Diesel (I find it blows less smoke then regular pump diesel)
The price is definitely not negotiable, once you see the vehicle in person you will understand why, a MK1 GLD in this kind of condition is extremely rare to find and I want it to go to a good home. I tried looking for the photo's from a magazine shoot it did with the previous owner but couldn't track them down.
