Now with roadworthy!
Up for sale is my 1996 Golf GL
Been used as my daily for nearly 2 years and had no problems, been 100% reliable and very well taken care of.
All electric window regs work fine, air con blows ice cold, all electrics and components work except cruise control.
Clean unmolested interior, still has original stereo with 10 stack cd stacker, original vw floor mats, no rips in seats, not smoked in, parcel shelf straight, headlining not too bad - starting to droop from the edges (see pic)
Little mods include:
- 17" wheels with some curbing
- Rear adjustable coil-overs (unknown brand, possibly JOM?) and front Pedders sports suspension. This set up handles very well but still comfy
- Lowered all round
- 2 1/4" exhaust system
- 35% tinted windows
- mk4 antenna
- Aero wipers
- VR6 clear front indicators
- Remote central locking
Bodywork and paint still decent, a dint on the left rear quarter, small spots of clear missing and the usual scratches and dings a car this age has. NO RUST.
Just serviced and serviced regularly using only the good stuff, German filters etc
Books with up to date service history.
- 165xxx km's
- Rego until 19 August
Good, solid, genuine clean car that is cheap to run and maintain. Nothing more to do.
After quick sale, selling due to upgrade.
