Yeah man, "hang on tightly; let go lightly" is probably one of the best lessons learned for anyone who plays with cars. I'm hoping it goes to a good home (or homes if someone parts it out).

I'm very excited about picking up the MK1.
It won't be parted out. It will be used as a daily driver.
