I'm looking at getting a 4wd for towing my track car, so it's time to sell my daily driver Mk4 Golf GTI. It was built in late 2002, so it's a 2003 year model.
Vin decoding:
Your VIN: WVWZZZ1JZ3W196955
Region: Europe [ W ]
Manufacturer: Volkswagen [ V ]
Car Type: Passenger Car (VW) [ W ]
Model: Golf Mk 4 [ 1J ]
Year: 2003 [ 3 ]
Assembly Plant: Wolfsburg, Germany [ W ]
Serial #: 196955
It has ~146000kms on the clock has just been registered for another 12 months!
My commute to work is mainly highway driving between Maitland and Warabrook on the outskirts of Newcastle so it has a lot of highway kms and still averages ~8.2L/per 100km.
It has:
- Revo stage 1 tune
-Forge Splitter DV
-The tired old suspension was replaced with KYB adjustable struts and H&R Sport springs 12 months ago.
-The clutch and flywheel were replaced with the popular g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch combination in january too.
- JVC KD-BT1 head unit. It supports USB, and has bluetooth handsfree. The rest of the system, i.e. speakers, is stock.
-3 inch turbo back exhaust system
-17inch Audi TT Rims . The Bridgestone Adrenalins on the TT rims will need replacing in the next 6 months. There's about 2mm tread or so before it hits the wear markers.
- 4 motion front and rear valances. (I still have the original rear valance if the new owner planned on down turning the exhaust tips)
I'm happy to throw the original Montreal II stock rims in the sale too. They have a few scuffs on them. The montreal IIs' tyres would need replacing, if they were used.
As far as dints and scratches go, the car just has a stone chip on the bonnet (5mm) and a couple of parking related scuffs on the rear wheel arches. The RHS mirror housing also has a crack in it too.
The car can be viewed at home in Aberglasslyn after work and weekends, else i can drive it to work at Warabrook.
Looking at offers around $10500 ONO. Feel free to PM me if you're interested or you know someone who is.
