As the title says I am on the hunt for a VW Jetta 1KM Turbo DSG (06 to 0.
It doesn't have to be optioned up the wazoo, just very clean (body/interior/engine) and under 70,000km's.
Price range from $15 to $18k.

Found one, purchased and taken delivery!
FSI Turbo in black with tan leather interior, DSG and sunroof.
Now needing some mods, but unfortunately the GF is against it hahaha.
Great car and enjoying it alot.

Good one mate! I have had the same model and colour for about 3 months, but without the leather and sunroof. I am really enjoying it and the fact that it had only done 60K. I have blinged it up with a bit of xtra chrome here and there and some new Potenza Re002s. I scored an APR non RSC catback system (old stock) for it from Guy (a frequent poster) and am getting it fitted next week by the APR agent in Canberra. I am also going to get the 6 hour APR Stage 1 trial to see out it goes. Keep an eye on Ebay and these forums and you should score a few bargains. Tell the GF you only want Jetta mods from now on for your birthday, christmas and fatherd day (if you qualify).

The reason for purchase is for future family mobile...bun in the oven atm.
Save up a few pennies and will get the APR or GIAC tune done. Had a Polo GTI with GIAC tune and really want the extra power already.
Engine feels like it would benefit heaps from a cold air intake alone to free it up a little.
Very happy with it, and i like your idea of birthday/xmas/fathers day Jetta gifts
