It appears that I am not allowed to post a for sale due to my status. I have been a member for over 5 years, just not very active in the last two or so.
Anyhow if you guys don't mind I thought I might leave a note here anyhow. I own a sliver Mark 1 (1976) Rocco (early single wiper version)I have been restoring for the past 5 years and counting. It is now a rolling shell, but I have run out of steam to finish it. So its up for sale if anyone is interested. The front was heavily smashed, so I bought a front halfcut off Rocco Dingo and have since unstitched all the panels striped and restored them to create as new, spare parts. (Boy was that fun!), Had it straightened not perfect but pretty good. The suspension is back in place and the car now rolls, I have the original engine (85 hp version) and gearbox (unrestored)minus the twin barrel carby but have single carby and manifold to suit. Some one has replaced original steel bumpers and associated mudguards with later plastic bumpers and wrap round indicators and guards. Numerous spare parts will come with the car like a spare dash, windscreen, later seats, door trim panels, etc. as far as I see it, it needs paint and minor repairs, the original seats trimed or use spare later versions included, and re assembly to get it mobile. Some parts are missing but can be obtained. If anyones interested or if you know of any one, get them to email me here and I'll get back to them. I am looking at around $3000, and must be picked up from Melbourne or I can deliver within Melbourne Metro for a small fee. There are unusual other parts I have that I can use to sweeten the deal, if we get down to it.
I had some great plans for this car but I don't think its going to happen while its in my hands. Reality Hurts!
