I dont use this car enough, so the minister of finances has decreed that it must go.
1987 UK Import, Tornado Red, Small Bumpers.
Interior close to immaculate, new headlining, seats not ripped, sunroof works, dash not cracked.
Engine is still running kjet, but has a 2L Bottom end and a big valve head. Only done 3000ks since rebuild.
Engine number changed with RTA and on the paperwork.
Also have retrofitted Air Conditioning and Power Steering.
Mk3 256mm Vented Front Brakes, standard GTI Disks on Rear.
Car goes great and can be driven anywhere with a permit or trade plate.
It has been sitting, so kjet could use a tune, but thats part of the appeal of an old classic right?
Paint is shiny in places, but faded and clearcoat is peeling in most areas.
A quick spray over the top and would look brand new.
No rust underneath, it has been here for years.
One bubble under back taillight and and a coupole of spots here and there, but very solid for an old car.
Has Koni adjustable coilovers in the front and koni shocks in the back I think.
Currently sitting on 16" Borbets 7.5" I think with 205/40/16 Continentals. There are 5 wheels, but the spare is a little rugged.
Just ran out of NSW Rego, but can easily register again, or is ready for an interstate move.
Looking for about $5.5k with the Borbets, bit cheaper without.
The car owes me well over $10k and in the last year I think I drove it twice.
