Hi All,
Unfortunatly due to space and time restrictions i'm going to sell my MK 1 Convertible
I am the 2nd owner having bought the car in 2004 with a 135,000 k's on it, it currently has 161,000 k's on it.
It has always been very relaible with the only issues being a flat battery from lack of use. (I train it into the city so just weekend and shopping useage)
Rego is up at the End of September but i am open to extending it as part of the deal - it does need a little TLC but would great project as its straight, no rust, great interior, very realible and no major mechanical problems.

Also have some parts that can be sold with the car...
Eyebrow + debaged euro grille and crosshair headlights (all brand new never used)

And some 16" wheels that will needs adpators or a shim and redrilled (great tyres and condition)

And 4 brand new shock absorbers and lowered springs
Has some small bumper damge which i'm in the process of fibreglassing and sanding etc, very small plam sized damage from a bad parking move also a small chip in the windscreen but really this is a great car with great interior and paint condition which has many more years of trouble free motoring ahead.
Looking for $2000 for car as is and parts / rego which i think is a bargin (I paid $12,000 originally for it) and also recently serviced!
I'm pretty gutted after having 2 cars over the last 12 years and both have been MK1's but i simply don't have the time or space for this car and i'd rather it go to someone into VW's
