Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD MY11 Caddy Maxi Life DSG - Toffee Brown, cool looking van!

    Hi all,

My circumstances have changed a bit and it looks like it would be wise for me to let go of my latest Dub

It is a Nov'10 built '11 Complianced Maxi Life DSG. Paint is called Toffee Brown
    1.6TDI with 7spd DSG
    Mileage: 13600km
Rego: to Feb 2011 (been on the road since February)

    Carsales ad: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...spx?R=11252517

Spec wise, it's probably the same as a Golf with comfort pack. The list is quite extensive... climate control, auto lights/wipers, full MFD, leather steering wheel with controls, ESP, 4 airbags, privacy glass from middle row back, rear OPS blah blah
It's very practical and I moved house recently by ourselves with this van. Most of the mileage though is for my own commute to/from work.
Although it isn't a very fast car, it attracts a lot of attention on the road. This car would suit anyone who has to cart a bit of equipment around, or people, or both. It could easily pickup 6 people from the airport and bring all their luggage home as well.

2nd and 3rd row seats are easily removable if you need to move a fridge

    Options:
    (or RNS510 available... negotiable)
    Metallic Paint

    Extras:
KW Variant 2 coilovers (highly recommended! height/damping adjustable)
18" Eos Samarkand alloys with BF Goodrich tyres - 1200km old
    Zaino paint protection

The car's in great condition outside. Inside, a few wear and tear marks from the stuff it's carried before.

I'm looking for $37k as is, or $33k standard (or anything in between with various mods)

I see that the switch is working OK as this is where yours is pointing (if you had not realised it was on)

thanks Wai, it's still foggy and I leave the switch in that position to clear the dew in the mornings. A useful feature
