VIC Wanted MK3 VR6 manual for daily driver

So it seems i'm back on the hunt for a mk3 vr6.

it's to be used as a daily driver to begin with until i turn it into more of a project car soon after.

Few things I would like are:

Manual
prefer under 200,000 kms
Good service history
Relatively good condition body wise

I will consider all prices brackets

I'm in VIC but will consider any state for the right car.

Let me know what you've got or if you know of anyone selling one.

But if I was you id get a simple cheap Mk3 CL or a Seat toledo/ibiza. Something easy to fix, cheap to insure etc...

I did look at darks car but I'm after something with original paint.

I think matt black would literally make me go insane.

The reason why I'm looking at a vr6 is more for later on down the track for performance possibilities.

I don't drive to far to work so the fuel isn't a huge issue.

Unless someone can recommend another model vw for around the same price that also has some potential for performance later on then I'm open to suggestions.

Would you be interested in a VR6 Passat? I'm about keen to move mine on and get something a little newer. It has 142k km, manual, dark grey in colour, lowered on Eibachs with 6 m.o Bilstein Sports. Wheels are 17" ABT A23s which are pretty unique.
Car is very straight and has 10 months rego.

I have looked at yours Golf Houso but i'm just not sold on the colour.

Everything else the car offers is what pretty much what i'm after though....bummer.

Its a pearl effect that changes from a dark plum to a bright red in the sun.

But to be honest you can't really be picky on colour for VR6's anymore, they're just too few and far between in decent condition these days.
