  • SA 1983 Golf Mk 1 GX

This is a fine example and great opportunity to purchase a hard to find Mk 1 Golf.
This GX 1.6L model is a real head turner, with quad front lights, front spoiler, quality tint on windows, sunroof, modified exhaust system, aftermarket alloy wheels, quality tyres (near new), slight suspension mods, 5 speed gearbox, heavy duty radiator, great soundsytem, immobiliser/alarm system and immaculate original interior (for it's age).
The body and paint is also in excellent condition (some slight fade on roof).
Mechanically very sound, just recently serviced and tuned, new brakes, new fuel lines and fuel filter.
Car drives very well, will not disappoint.
Feel free to PM or contact me on 0422791788
    $5999 o.n.o

Thanks guys, will be sad to see it go.
The car was imported from the UK in the mid 80's, not sure exact dates
and it currently has 106,070 genuine km
The rims are 16" alloys, not sure the brand, but ill let you know by tonight.

The car only has some very minor surface rust,
Just did the front disk brakes a couple weeks ago, had the pads replaced and my mechanic thinks that the brakes are the same to the GTI
Also here is the carsales add
