  • NSW WTB: Cheap daily. Mk1/2??

    Hi Guys,

    well ive got a lot of time before my car arrives so im in need of a car. MUST HAVE;

    RWC - in any state
    rego (anything from about 3 months left and up on it is fine) - in any state also
    good on fuel
    easy to park (missus lives in bondi, hard to park a big car)

    probably will have about 2g to spend... the cheaper the better.

    If anybody has say a mk1 or 2 theyre getting rid of id be keen to view it, even if you have something else, ill consider it.

    i did specify nsw but i will look at vic and act also. qld, possibility....

    any help would be great!

    Stef.

    you're better off looking for a seat cordoba/ibiza or something mate, newer tech, more reliable etc etc. not rusty. Just a thought.

      I'm open to anything really. I would like a MkI but if I can't find one for the cash I wanna spend then I'll look at others... Sooner rather than later, it's difficult driving the missis car when I live in the hills n her in bondi..

        If you want a cheap, (decent condition) VW then perhaps a nice little MK3 GL or CL?

            Be prepare to spend 10K on a 2K Mk1 or Mk2.
            As other ppl say, if you want a cheap and more important, reliable, daily. get a Mk3
            if you want a toy, get a Mk1/2

                I have a SEAT Cordoba with November Rego for $1500.
                Bodywork a bit battered, mechanically excellent.
