Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW EOI: 75 Passat Wagon

    Hi all,

I have a 75 Passat Wagon for sale.

The car has not been driven for a year, as it has been stored at my farm north of sydney. The body is very tidy, with damage to the drivers door the only real issue.

The interior is absolutely immaculate, with no rips or tears in the vinly seats/door cars etc. Rooflining and dash is good condition

In terms of running gear, the car was working fine until I removed the head off it for my golf project. But it has a 2L bottom end in it, which has had some work done to it (not sure exactly what) but I know it used to run a decent time at the 1/4 miles...other than that all the running gear in there (manual box).

I can't take pictures soon as I need to head up to the farm to at some point to do it...

I did intend to keep it as a nice daily wagon but my mk1 is taking up enough time and $!

Anyway, let me know if i've left anything out or you seek futher info!

    Price?...Make an offer!

    Thanks,
    Michael.
