  • VIC FS: Original Mk1 '83 Campaign GTI

    Hey guys..

Again posting this up for a good friend & also a great opportunity to get into a one of a kind Mk1 Golf

My friend has decided after a lengthy period of VW’s to get out of the entire scene for good & is now selling off all things VW’s incl. this very car.

    Genuine 1983 Golf “Campaign” GTI

This car is damages hence the asking price but…

Its probably one of the most original GTI’s in the country! It still has the paper sticker build “bar code” in the door frame along with a whole bunch of other bits & pieces.

It does come with a bunch of parts & panels to repair the damage incl. a new genuine front radiator panel, 2nd hand 83 Golf rear half cut for the floor & rear panel, lights, bonnet, new bumper bars & 2nd hand ones etc etc.

The interior is untouched & again one of the best condition interiors going around!

Some parts are missing, like brake booster & some other odds & ends, but the engine, 5 spd close ratio gearbox etc are all there.

Suspension consists of Koni adjustable shocks & Jamex springs, 4 wheel disc brakes, good condition P-Slots wheels with good Toyo RA1 205/55R14’s road/track tyres.

    Priced to sell

    $3K

For more details regarding spec & items that come with the car please PM.

      Hey mate,

I'll get more pics for you.

      Damage:

front rad panel & bonnet. Rear needs to be cold pulled for starters & have the rear floor pan & LHR chassis rail replaced as its wrinkled & the LHr quarter is creased. But I've been told alot of that would come out in the cold pull
there's driveline bits & pieces missing, but I still have the matching number DX engine.

This is how the engine bay looked before the accident!!!! Mint. Note the factory Wax is still there!!!!!

More of pics of the damage in the rear end & front end. Sorry no pics of the engine bay, but the rails are straight. Requires bonnet & slam panel & associated trim pieces etc. which are supplied.
