Posting this up for a good friend & also a great opportunity to get into a one of a kind Mk1 Golf.
My friend has decided after a lengthy period of VWs to get out of the entire scene for good & is now selling off all things VWs incl. this very car.
Now the car is rusty, but you're not buying it for the shell. Rather the entire package that it comes with & the mods list is by far one of the most extensive lists I’ve seen.

Now, the car's engine is damaged, but it only needs some a .40thou bore, pistons & rings to suit bore & 8.5:1 comp ratio, rods (if you really want to for strength purposes & future upgrades), head reco incl. valves & valve guides etc, G60 headgasket & all the associated headwork.
Approx. $2.5K of work/parts to have this car running again & running consistent high 12s – low 13s!
The car has recently ran 12.99 & with a good strong engine & some seat time, this car will run mid-high 12s, & I’ll stand by that comment!
On the 12.99 pass, it was still .2 off its best 60ft’s which translates to roughly .4-.5 @ 400m!
The car will be sold complete less the KW V3’s & the rear sway bar. All else will be sold complete incl.
Driveline
1.8L, ported head, intake, turbo exhaust manifold & turbo exhaust housing
8K old Genuine Garret turbo T3/4 50trim, .48A/R exhaust housing & 3” v-band dump pipe flange/wastegate setup.
3” dump pipe into full 2.5” mandrel bent exhaust system.
Customized K-Jetronic full system incl. custom fuel pipes, hoses, fuel pump & accumulator mountings etc.
Intercooler & custom piping etc.
8K old Tial Re-circ Blow off valve. Can come with normal Tial BOV for alittle extra for spare
Full MSD 6BTM (boost timing master) ignition system incl. CDI box, ignition coil, leads etc etc.
Spec stage 5 full drag clutch
Diesel 4spd gearbox, locked diff, ARP diff bolts
Brakes/suspension
Mk2 16v brake booster & master cyl, custom hidden brake piping, proportioning valves.
GTI 4 wheel discs.
KW’s will be swapped out for lowered springs with KYB gas struts with very little kms.
Neuspeed front upper & lower stress bars.
Stock 13” steelies with Bob Jane all rounders. Front are worn (wonder why when it can powerskid in 3rd!!!!), rears are like new!
Body
Rusty shell with plenty of excellent condition parts to whore off incl.
One of the best condition stock Mk1 interiors in the country! Yes a big call, but if you’ve ever seen it, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
Sunvisor! Yes I know!
There will also be a bunch of over spares I’m sure on contact.
Asking $4K as is. No reg.

I've also got a brand new 20L drum of Mobil Super 1000 oil to go with the car too. That's $150-190 by itself.
