SA 1992 Audi 80

1992 Audi 80, this one is the rarer 2.8, I have only ever seen one other 2.8, usually it is the 2.6.

This car also has german market accessories, I am led to believe this was a personal import in the past.

It has the OEM Speedline wheels, OEM Spoiler, OEM fog lights and appears to have 'sport' suspension. Also has OEM partially smoked rear lenses (never seen those any 80's here)

This car is driven daily, has been very reliable.

It needs the CV joints done, just something I haven't gotten around to.

Automatic box
Of course power mirrors, windows and sunroof (tilt and slide)
Sony headunit with splits in the dash and rear doors (factory speaker locations) as well as a Sony amp and sub in the boot. There is still plenty of room in the boot for anything you could want (its huge!)

Rear seats fold down flat too.

How many K's? Log book service? If you think its been an import, perhaps check if there's a compliance plate fitted to the vehicle. Any body damage? Interior shots would be good.

The car has 307,000kms. Service history is in the books for much of the cars life, then as usual it dissapears. It was serviced not long ago with new spark plugs, new radiator, fluids and filters changed.

Here are more pictures. THere is no body damage, but some paint scratches and some clearcoat coming off in some bits. Not noticeable unless up close.


The interior pictures didnt turn out very good due to sunlight. All the leather and trim is BLACK BLACK BLACK. Leather is still very plush and just so comfortable - bar really hot days!!!

Yes compliance plate is there - It is stamped 08/92 (Build date is 03/92).

Car also drips some oil, not sure where its coming from - I just keep an eye on the dipstick.
