1987 Mk2 Golf GTI. Personal Import with Yellow Compliance Plate.
We have just finished putting it back to standard plus form!
It is Red and the paint is baked and the laquer is coming off in places.
Not Rusty, give it a spray and it would look mint.
Interior is near perfect, uncracked dash and good seats.
Has working sunroof and new headlining.
Engine is a big valve 1.8L head on a 2L 2E Bottom end fuelled by kjet. Starts and drives like a dream, goes pretty hard actually. Engine number has been changed on the rego papers.
Only other upgrades were bigger Mk3 Brakes, power steering, bigger front swaybar and working Air Conditioning.
It is a small window, small bumper early car, light and nimble, good fun to drive.
Has some coilovers in, but cant remember what brand. Koni perhaps?
Currently has 16" Borbet Wheels on it, which look great, but can come with steelies for the enthusiast if you wish.
Has 4 months or so NSW rego left.
Looking for $8000.
