VIC Looking for SuperBug 1600 Beetle

Hey guys, haven't been on for ages sold my R36 sedan for an Evo 9.. Because of the cool people at EPA i sold it (Evo 9) for a Tsukuba Time Attack track only Evo 6RS.. Lol!

Looking for a Superbug 1600 road registered and if possible with road worthy cert. For weekend use... Anything i should look out for in particular as i am not so familiar with faults if any on this car.... HELP!

Any tips on where to find a good one and can anyone recommend a trusted VW specialist to analyze car b4 buying?

Hi. I'm selling my lotus white 1968 German import matching numbers beetle. It's not a super bug though. But it is the later look body. It's a 1500 - which I disassembled, repainted (black), replaced a whole lot of stuff and put back in, $800 of CIP1 goodies (rubbers etc), it's got a 3" narrowed beam wound right down and lowered rear too. Beautiful perfect low back red interior. Apparently there is a small amount of rust in the A pillar but this didn't stop a RWC. It can also come with a complete (disassembled) 1600 motor with a weber carby and phat boy exhaust for extra. It's a 'rat' so the paint is not perfect. It's running rough right now, but I'll be servicing it in the next few weeks. I haven't advertised it yet so I'm not sure on price probably around the 4k mark (negotiable) and the 1600 an extra 1k?. Comes with the original beam, U.S rear lights, 12V LED brake spot light (very bright), etc etc.
