Expressions of interest 1980 Mk1 GLD with spares

I will be putting my 1980 Gld up for sale in the near future . It has a rust free body other than the bottom rear corner of the LH front M/guard. It has an extremely low mileage motor (less than 20000km I estimate) Ring me at 0263675555 and I will explain the history of the motor. There will also be included another going Motor (the original motor)Complete with injector pump. There is a complete transmission plus many other spares (much of it junk but a lot of it useful) The body has had the front of the subframe replaced some years ago after it was bought as a write off,pulled apart then gathered dust in Steve Miessels workshop (great bloke with his son Joe for VW people)I obtained it some 13 years after Steve got it and put it back together and have owned it in 2 stages for the last 10 years or so. I would be thinking of around 2k but am interested to see what interest there is. It is registered for 11months.

I have been very busy for the last few days but will take some pics tomorrow and put them on. The inside is pretty good other than the dash which is buggered. Original carpet in dirty but decent condition and original seats with no rips. One small tear in the headlining. No rear parcel tray. Interior is Brown.

I have taken some pics of the beast but the upload system is a bit much for an old geriatric like me. If anyone wants a look or is willing to go through the rigmarole to add them to the post I will happily email them to any email address. One of my problems is that I use a Linux OS and Photobucket or whatever probably does not cater for it.

Give it some thought folks ,you will never find one with a better motor .The Pictures probably flatter it a little bit but it is a great little car .Interestingly the bloke who I got the engine off bought his GLD new in 1980 and he reckons it cost more that a new Ford Town Car. A true enthusiast.
