Hey guys im gonna chuck my Mk 4 golf up for sale.. its a 2000 model rally gle 2.0L
i bought this car in february last year and have loved it since day one.. drove it around for about 3 months stock as and then started with little touches... well the first you probably wouldnt call small i spent $2500 on a sound system for it which is still currently in the car probably only worth about $1500 now tho. all kenwood with 2 amps 1000w mono block for 2 x 12" kenwood subs 1400w peak 400wrms each.the subs are in a dual box in the boot.. 400w clarion amp running the splits which are all 180w kenwoods. Kenwood head unit aswell and it was wired up professionally so nuthing dodgy about that...
next i bought myself a set of 19" audi rs4 reps off another member on this forum and they have been great! look perfect for it.
after driving around tractor spec for a week i hated it so i orded some H & R sports springs off [aswome-gti.uk] and when they came in got them fitted... unfortunately the mechanic scratched one of my rims and denied it but its not tooooo bad... there is a tiny bit of gutter rash on that wheel which ull see from the pics i put up.
rest of the wheels are fine only with tiny little stone chips that are hardly visible...
the windows are tinted to 35%
bought some aftermarket headlights and taillights both with LED's everywhere you'll see from the pics how nice they look.
got a custom 2.25inch exhaust from catback with a sports muffler and a nice little tip that just sticks out the back. got that made up 3 weeks ago from the 'exhaust specialists' formerly don and pats exhausts here in wagga
also put a k & n pod filter on it last week.
im getting a major service done on it this weekend/next week down in batemans bay by a european car specialist who's been servicing my old mans golf for a while now. the service will include spark plugs and the rest of the norm and should be getting the throttle body replaced too so it will be expensive but right up to scratch and running like a dream.. ive put 15000 kms on the car since ive had it and this is its 4th service im abit of a perfectionist and want everything done properly all the time and well on time. i clean my car once a week without fail and as i said ive had it serviced 4 times in 15000kms there hasnt ever been anything wrong with this car.. only problem i have come across at all is the throttle body in the last 2 months so once thats replaced and the service is done she'll be good to go.
it has 150000 on the clock.
interior is full grey leather and is in immaculate condition back seats look brand new and passenger seat looks super nice too.. the usual wear and tear on the drivers seat but no rips or damage.. only problem in the interior is a bit of the finish on the door handles drivers and passengers are abit worn but not much to worry about.
everything listed is included in the sale but if i have no interest asap i will start to part it and take it back to stock.. but i would prefer it to go as one peice as its a nice looking ride and it would be much easier..
now im looking for $11500 for it as is, im not quite sure whether its worth that... its insured for 12k i bought it for 9 and have spent about 5k on it without inc services and so on. but im negotiable to a certain degree and im willing to travel within reason..
i want this car to stay in the vww family because ever since ive joined up ive had nuthing but good experiences with everyone on here..
