NSW WTB : Mk1 Golf (2 door preferably)

Hi everyone.
I'm currently trying to track down a nice little mk1 Golf. First preference is a 2 door, but I'm having trouble finding any.
It needs to be registered and in good condition. Rough/faded paint is fine, but I'd like to avoid anything that requires serious rust or mechanical work.

Basically looking to get something I can jump in to and have a bit of fun without outlaying huge amounts of money.

If you know of anything please let me know.

How much do you wanna spend? I know a guy with a track built one i.e. seat, bars, big brakes etc.

Yep, there definitely is a fair bit of interest in these little beasts isn't there.
I'm not looking to spend huge amounts of money, just after something running and good enough to drive around straight away (I do know i'll need to be spending money down the track though ofcourse). Doesn't need to have anything particularly special/original about it, just 2 doors. Ideally it'll be an ongoing project that I can still drive.
The track one you mentioned sounds interesting, but probably overkill for my needs. Will shoot you a PM though anyway.
