hey every one, im putting my project car up for sale, its a 1976 mk1 2 door golf gls
CAR- blue 2 door 76 mk1 golf, body is super straight for its age, paints pretty faded and theres a few spots of sufrace rust. there is some small patches of rust in the drivers and passangers foot wells up towards the wheel arch, the car is pretty much 100% there in terms of the body, it has no rear seat as i was going to do it as a 2 seater so i sold it to dan, sound deadening has been removed as have all the f*cking great big huntsman spiders that were living in it!!
ENGINE- engine is not in the car, its a 1.6l 8v 4 speed tire shredding power house, the clutch had gone when i bought it so i tore it out for some freshening up, fully cleaned the engine, block painted gloss black, rocker cover has been done in vht wrinkle finish black, polished the metal strips that hold it down and new polished button head bolt set, painted all the ancillery's ally silver (water pump, hose flanges etc) its also had 99% re seal done to it ($200 + not cheapo ebay job) just needs head gasket and rear main seal done, also has a samco silicone hose kit ready to go (urban camo finish) Engine ran really well before it came out, blew minimal smoke but re seal should take care of that.
theres also heaps of spares to go with the car, front guards, bonnets, rear hatch, spare set of glass, grille, trims, mechanical parts, seat belts, looms etc, chrome altinator, new shift linkage kit, gear box, clutch etc... heaps of stuff to get the car running and on the road! im looking for $1250 ono for everything, ive spent well over that on parts and supplies and actually getting the car (was 4 hours out of perth) please note the price is flexable, i have a new toy coming, and as sad as i am to see it go, it does need to go sooner rather than later,
