  • QLD FS: 2003 Bora V6 4Motion (with lots of added EURO goodness!)

JMac, I hope you're sitting down...

As many of you would have seen in my posts on this forum, I have spent a lot of time and invested a lot of attention in getting my Bora to its current level. Sadly however, as we already have a bulletproof Corolla to run around in and I commute to the CBD by bike, poor Borat sits in the garage most of the time and doesn't get out nearly as much as he deserves to It's really hard owning a car I love very much but rarely use.

I've therefore decided to offer it up for sale, hopefuly to a forum member or one of their family, colleagues or associates. Bar the logistics it's ready for sale lads.

All the work and improvements I've made have been documented for all the World to see here at VWWC, so follow that link for a 'ready reference' of everything that's been done since I took ownership. You'll see I've tried to cut as few corners as possible with the build, that includes servicing by JMac (and JMac only) since Day 1 using only top quality parts and consumables, so I am happy for anyone interested to contact me with quetions.

NRMA puts its market payout figure at $15 100 but I reckon it's worth a bit more than that. However, I'm completely open to negotiation for serious buyers who literally won't have a thing to do for an amazing VW.

That said, any buyers who think they'll be able to lowball for a car of this quality and not be politely ignored should best think again.

Sad to see it go mate, I wish I could buy it because I know how much care you've put into making everything perfect on it. Hopefully you find someone who appreciates it.

Here are two pictures I've snapped at various times:

        Good luck with it all,

                Thanks lads!

You know someone made me a 'very generous' offer of $8k for it yesterday, Dylan?

So after I stopped crying from laughter, I very generously suggested they go pole themselves

Dont worry mate, I had someone who didnt speak very good English ring me after seeing my GTI on the street. Asked me how much I was selling the car for, I replied 15.... he then asked if it was negotiable, I replied to an extent, how much were you thinking? He then told me "i have a budget of three kay". After politely telling him to fork off, I almost cried, then laughed, then swore a little. Good fun selling a car isnt it!
