It's been a tough decision, but it looks like it's time to sell my Mk2 and get a Mk5.
So, for sale is my red 1990 Mk2 GTI 8v (4-door). Here are the specs:
1990 Australian Delivered
173,xxx kms
Full log book including the last 3 services at Volkswerke and Volkspower.
15x7 BBS RA's in great condition with new tyres (standard steelies also included)
New CAT and back box done just 2 months ago
New heater core and regassed aircon (6 months ago)
8 Months Rego included
Comes with RWC
Extra set of window scrapers included
Car is completely standard apart from the BBS's and I've made every effort to keep the car as mint as possible. Garaged overnight and cleaned with care every two weeks.
Interior is mint, tartan seats look awesome and the dash is perfect apart from a hairline crack at of the windscreen vents. Heating and cooling is excellent thanks to an overhaul of the heater core 6 months ago.
Exterior is in excellent condition, with only one or two marks that can easily be remedied.
Overall, the car is in very good condition requiring no work to be done. I'm probably looking for $6200, a fair price for an original Mk2 in such good condition.
