Remember this car - used to wear the plates 'GTGOLF' IIRC. Could be something special with some TLC

            Thanks for the comments guys.
Correct Valver had those plates, and used to be a fast little machine...

                Hi Guy's,

This might be a stupid question.
Is this road legal or for track only?

Hello all just thought I'd note the steering wheel has been changed from the one in the picture to a nice momo course wheel. The car has also been road registered in the past.

Not really sure on the kms but it would be reasonable, the mk2 G60 is the only G60 motor.... They came in the rally the, the gti G60, the corrado and some passats. All 1.8 8v digifant supercharged.

I just added some more details on the engine to the first post.

Not wanting to sound like a know-it-all Carl, but just for info, the Rallye came with a smaller capacity of 1763cc, but a better flowing head, the engine code for a Rallye is a 1H, the others are PG with 1781cc. (16VG60 code is 3G) The only difference with the other variants was the intercoolers, shoe box sized one on the Corrado underneath the Battery, the Golf G60 had a FMIC or a TMIC (with A/C) and the Rallye had a FMIC with larger inlet and outlets...

Looks like a cool little project, wish i could buy it!!
