Sorry to hear that, Anthony! I'll admit that they're nice cars, but the engines in the Accord are a little disappointing.

      I love the engine,very smooth,quiet,and refined.

The Euro looks great,is very comfortable, and is brilliant to drive as it goes ,handles, stops so well.

      My build quality is shocking.

      In 7000 kilometers,it has needed a new drivers seat,and I am a small guy @ 73 kilos.
New door seal,an intermittant rattle...has had lots of lube work done, door panel refitted, window tightened, and in for 3 days to test in diffirent weather conditions.

Now left front door vibrates every time my left front alloy hits a cats eye.

It will be going in next Wednesday for a week.

I called my VW dealer out of sheer frustration,he will keep me fully up to date with the local launch of the new Jetta.

My last Jetta was my favorite car by far, dont let anyone tell you that the Euro is better, its not.

And its not cheap either,to buy,run ,or maintain.

I just hope you get decent quality regardless of whether it's made in SA or Mexico. I've heard that the SA built VWs aren't necessarily the best when it comes to build quality and refinement.

I dont think it makes much of a diffirence.

I have had 2 Mexican, and 2 South African built Volkswagens, and all were fantastic.

          Very similar build quality.

A reason why I chose the new Euro was because it is still made in Japan, all other Hondas are built in Thailand.

And I think its quality is the worst of the lot.

I have also owned a Ford built in SA,and a Holden built in Belgium by Opel.
