Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Location: Perth
    Item Condition: very good
    Reason for selling: Something more track oriented and cash for house deposit
    Price and price conditions: $15k (or swap for something else)
    Extra Info:
    Ultimate combination of Luxury and Performance with the following features:
    150kw 2.8L V6
    All wheel drive
    6 speed manual
    Leather interior and electric everything, inc sunroof, auto wipers, cruise control etc
    Engine oil/filter, diff oil, gearbox oil all recently changed.
    6 months rego just paid

    Car has 107,000km
    KW Var1 Coilovers
    2.5" Cat back exhaust
    Dieselgeek short shifter
    BMC CDA carbon intake
    Superchips ECU
    Techtonics 264/260 camshafts
    R32 replica 18" wheels with 225/40 Kuhmo KU31 tyres
    7" DVD player/radio/bluetooth

    Car makes just under 200hp at the wheels.
    Very smooth, surprisingly quick and sounds absolutely fantastic.
    Only looking to sell due to wanting something more suited for motorsport, and cheaper as I am saving for a house deposit.

    Minor issues with the car
    Headlights a little cloudy
    Headunit requires proper mounting (previous owner didnt install it right)
    Glovebox doesnt close properly
    Leather could do with a detail

    Could be interested in swap for something else, PM with what you might have...

      lots of midrange with the cams, and pulls up fantastic
