After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    NSW MY08 GT Sport TDI expressions of interest to buy..

    Hi All,

    Unfortunately I have found myself in a situation where I am going to have to sell my Golf Mark V GT Sport TDI

    Thought I'd see if anyone here would be interested before going off to the big bad world. Now some details...

    MY08 Born Jan 2008 Graphite Blue Golf Mark V TDI GT Sport
    Sunroof, Xenon's, Head light protectors, Slim line Weather-shields, VW metal Door Sill protectors, Luggage net, Boot Liner, VW Blue Tooth. Has approx 92,000km on it as was work car. Has been serviced religiously, new Sport Contact 2 Conti's put on around the 75,000km mark. Complete service history and receipts available. Car is in original condition with no modifications from factory specs.

    I need to get approx $28,000 for it to cover my loan/lease on the vehicle as I was recently made redundant from my job. So please only serious enquiries and you'd be more than welcome to do an inspection if you're serious. The car is in Western Sydney but interstate folks more than welcome to enquire

    Sorry to hear that my man, but as someone who survived redundancy last year, you can always have a chat to the bank and lease place, they have financial hardship assistance available for a time. Helped me survive between jobs with most everything intact!

    All the same all the best with the sale. It's a great car for sub $30k!!!

      Is it DSG or Manual?

      Try Greg's idea out. I'd hate to see someone lose a GT TDI, esp w/ those factory options. I'd buy it off you but I already have a black one!

        Yeah that would have helped.. it is a DSG!!!

        And thanks guys for your ideas. Funny thing is.... this is my 3rd time being made redundant!!!

        Also brakes on the car still have 5mm at front and 4 mm at rear left on them, had its 90,000km service done 2 weeks ago. And an added benefit is that the price just dropped to $27,000 as I confirmed with the bank on the payout figure.
