Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC WTB Mk1 Golf

    Hi there, chasing any year mk1. 2 or 4 door no preference. Really looking for a car thats running and a decent body but i dont mind a little leg work to get it on the road. Not looking for a ground up rebuild just thought id put my feelers out there and hope for the best, to be honest i dont like my chances but hey you never know i guess.. $1000 is what i want to spend so if anyone gets desperate call me first..
